He leads and hosts performances, serves as Master of Ceremony, coordinates outreaching with nursing homes, and manages logistics

Lawrence has been deeply passionate about classical piano performance as well as helping increase access to all types of music to everyone who wants to participate or watch which is why he is greatly honoured to be an executive of SpotYourLight this year.

She is dedicated to singing for many of Instrumentopia’s performances, helping plan out some of the logistics, and bringing out the best out of everyone each time! Some of her hobbies outside of singing include art and calligraphy.

Joshua Wu is a current 12th grader at Prince of Wales Secondary. At the age of 5, his inspiration from classical concerts sparked his passion for music. Apart from playing the violin, he also loves jamming on the electric guitar and performing worship songs at church.

Whenever the seniors seem a bit bored of classical or jazz, I’m always there to bring some rock into the mix! Of course, when playing electric guitar solos, I always try to bring some vocal melody into it as well

Anson is a current senior at Steveston-London Secondary school, and he serves as the main logistics coordinator for Instrumentopia. Along with Jason, he helps set up each performance, including helping with speakers, microphones, mic stands, program printing and more.

My name is Emma, and I’m a G11 student at Sentinel Secondary School. I primarily assist with outreach coordinating, helping draft and send many emails. I enjoy playing piano, playing tennis and drawing. I love animals. I’m a friendly person who wants to bring positive change to out community.
